Dreams can recall joy and passion

They may even give you peace of mind
till morning breaks their sweet refrain
 

For when you wake at daybreak
it is then you'll clearly see
 

That you were only chasing dreams
and they're not reality
 

But continue your dream chasing
and the way it makes you feel

if I can, to make them real

NIGHT  DIAMONDS

 

The stars are like diamonds

in the night,

 Up there in heaven with

their twinkly lights

 

Are they there to show the angels

safe paths to tread

As we down here on earth lay

sleeping in our beds

 

The north star is the brightest and

for centuries they say

Was used by seafaring ancestors

to find the way

 

For them to safely cross oceans

 and the stormy seas

And return to home harbours

and loving families.
