Life With My PC

A whole world opens up before me
when I sit at my PC
I can travel the world in a moment
and cross many an ocean and sea
It really is quite simple a click
is all that I need
Then a whirring noise commences
and I'm away at top speed

Last night it took me to Alaska
care of a cruise ship line
I dined on board with the Captain
dressed up and looking fine
I can find out all the answers to
questions asked by my Grandson
He thinks I am very clever one day
I'll show him how it's done

But I'm enjoying it so at the moment
when he looks up at me in awe
And says "do you know Grandma
you're the cleverest one of all
Today I'm going shopping
without even taking a step
No matter if it's pouring with rain
I'll not be getting wet

My friends told me when I retired I'd
have so much time on my hands
That I would be able to go and do all
those wonderful things I planned
But my life's not quite worked out
like they forecast because now you see
I'm spending nearly all of my time
sitting in front of my PC.
