WORD PICTURES

When I paint a picture I do it with words

Although some people say that just sounds absurd

But my pictures change daily depending on who

Is reading the verse from their own point of view

For it's this which creates the image they see

Just as my words conjure up pictures for me.

THROUGH MY EYES

I see the world through my eyes

So stop telling me what I must do

There's been time enough to realise

I see things from my own point of view

Not looking through rose coloured glasses

Or living life wrapped in cotton wool
Will not mean as my time passes

I lived my whole life as a fool.
